the street artist using cans as a canvas

Street artist My Dog Sighs decorates discarded tins with hyper-realistic portraits of furry critters.

The humble can has served as rich artistic inspiration ever since Andy Warhol first covered gallery walls in images of Campbell’s Soup. For street artist My Dog Sighs, discarded tins of beans make for the perfect canvas. In the last 10 years, the artist has been painting little critters and pop-culture characters onto what would otherwise be waste, and plonking his finished artworks back onto the street where he found them. A nice reminder that it pays to be aware of your surrounds.
