Aspiring shutterbugs, lend us your ears: a brand new photography school is popping up along the east coast this month, and we reckon it's going to be a bit of a doozy.

Aspiring shutterbugs, lend us your ears: a brand new photography school is popping up along the east coast this month, and we reckon it's going to be a bit of a doozy.

Aptly called The Photo School, it consists of a series of one-day workshops in Melbourne, Tasmania and Byron Bay, run by best pals and fellow snappers, Kate Berry and Peta Mazey. The light-loving ladies want to teach you how to get the most out of your camera, whether it's a phone, DSLR or digital point-and-shoot– they might be photo pros, but photo snobs they ain't.

There'll be lunch and a scrummy afternoon tea included as well, and if your grumbling tum isn't enough to entice you along, maybe the promise of a personal portrait will do the trick.

Hop on over to their website for full details and upcoming workshop dates.
