Nobody puts heartbreak in the corner – but you can put it in a museum.
No one forgets the feeling of a broken heart. The Museum of Broken Relationships, in both Los Angeles and Zagreb, honours the feels – bitter and sweet – and has created “a physical and virtual public space with the sole purpose of treasuring and sharing your heartbreak stories and symbolic possessions”. Chokes us up just thinking about it! Conceived by Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić in 2006, the museum has taken thousands of folks on an “empathetic journey around the world”. You can visit the museums in person, or share your broken relationship tale via their online portal, here.
