the home zine

Being at home is the best (chuck out the rest).

Want to know a little secret? We're currently writing this from the comfort of our living room couch, where we're curled up in a ball of cookie crumbs and clothes-that-should-never-be-worn-out-of-the-house. If we never had to leave this position we'd probably be okay with that, because being at home is the best (chuck out the rest).

Tallulah Fontaine and Carla McRae seem to think so as well, because they've created the Home zine and filled its pages with drawings dedicated to the snuggliest of places. Recognising that 'home' can mean many things – a space, a person, a memory or just a feeling – they're releasing the publication in a three-part series, with seven local and Canadian illustrators along for the ride.

Issue one is out now and explores the idea of home as a physical place. To nab yourself a copy, pop over here.
