You probably wouldn't put Brisbane alongside Paris, Milan and London on a list of the world's most fashionable cities (although an abundance of singlets and sunhats should push it pretty high up the ranks), but as it so happens, Queensland has a rich fashion history. Just ask Madeleine King and Nadia Buick, the ladies behind online publication The Fashion Archives. Chockas with new and old content from museum storerooms, library archives and the minds of local writers and designers, the site covers street style, history and personal stories as they work towards discovering the state's unique style.

Issues comes out once a fortnight and are overflowing with rad pics and sartorial tidbits, so head over here to have a gander and sign up.
