It’s brimming with eye-pleasing artworks by a talented bunch of people from across the globe. She enjoys walks, art galleries, drinking tea, reading Sally Rooney novels and dancing. laurapageillustration.uk
What are you looking forward to? A new creative challenge, or possibly going abroad to experience some new and exciting cultures – something I haven't done in a long time!
What are some of your goals for 2022? Plan trips with my friends, visit family living abroad and set myself a challenge such as joining a Netball team or a running or sea swimming club. I miss team sports so much so I may try them out again.
What’s your favourite holiday? One where we have no plans, hit the road and stay in hostels, meeting people on the way. Interrailing around Europe with my friends was one of the best holidays ever!
What made you smile recently? Going for a freezing cold sea swim with my friend.HANNAH PAHL is a designer from Nashville, Tennessee. She loves long walks, finding the best soup recipes, listening to ‘80s tunes and reading psychology books. hannahpahldesign.com
What are you looking forward to? I turn 30 in a few months and I’m very excited to see what’s in store for this next decade.
What are some of your goals for 2022? Travelling more, going freelance and becoming a world-class rollerblader.
What’s your favourite holiday? Halloween. I LOVE costumes. And candy!

What are you looking forward to? For the past 10 months everything I own has been in storage and I've been driving around Australia with my husband. Right now, I'm really looking forward to spending some time with friends and setting up a home again.
What are some of your goals for 2022? I'd like to take the energy and enthusiasm for exploring and trying new things and apply it to my hometown.
What’s your favourite holiday? I'm super lucky because my husband is American so I get to celebrate his holidays as well. My absolute favourite is Thanksgiving. It's a really nice excuse to surround yourself with loved ones, eat pumpkin pie and remember what you're grateful for.
What made you smile recently? After hours and hours of quietly creeping through a rainforest looking for a cassowary, we finally gave up and sat on a beach defeated, eating icy poles. Then a cassowary wandered over and sat down next to us.LAURA LHUILLIER is an illustrator in France (although she’d love to be a cosmonaut). What are some of your goals for 2022? I don't really have a goal, I just let myself be carried along by events and opportunities. I'm not the kind of person to plan; I live from day to day. However, I would like to travel in 2022 to discover more of the world.
What’s your favourite holiday? The summer holidays! I can't stand the cold and I love the sun. Plus, I love eating ice cream and summer fruits are my favourite.

What’s your favourite holiday? One that I can go on (after having four trips cancelled over the past 18 months)!

What are some of your goals for 2022? I choose a theme for each year instead of goals. The 2022 theme will be 'thriving’. Also, to be conversational in Dutch.
What’s your favourite holiday? Thanksgiving, because it features all my favourite foods.
What made you smile recently? I saw a toddler chasing a pigeon and the pigeon was faster and better at walking than the kid. It didn’t even need to fly away.RENEE MELIA is an artist from Perth. What are you looking forward to? Sleeping in again one day.
What are some of your goals for 2022? I would love to set up my own printing at home. I use a third-party site at the moment but I would love to make that interaction between myself and my customers a little more personal. Illustrating a magazine cover or book is also forever on top of my wish list!
What’s your favourite holiday? My husband and I quit our jobs, sold up our belongings and travelled through South America, the US and Asia for nine months back in 2012. We’ve had a few holidays since then but that one will always hold a special place in my heart.

What are you looking forward to? When the pandemic is finally over, I want to start travelling. I really want to visit Perth, Australia.
What are some of your goals for 2022? Draw more. There are so many lovely things to draw but I was so busy dealing with my own personal life this year.
What’s your favourite holiday? Christmas! I still love the feel of the season.

What are you looking forward to? I'm really excited about my first published children’s book coming out in spring. It’s a nonfiction book about the Ancient Egyptian afterlife with a cat as the tour guide. It’s been so great to illustrate the book and I can’t wait to hold it in my hands. I'm also looking forward to spring and summer, seeing my tulips flower, spending time on my bike and swimming in the sea again.
What are some of your goals for 2022? Have lots more fun! I hope to be working on another illustration book project and I would love to get my pottery collection to some galleries. I will try to travel abroad this year, as much of my work is inspired by different cultures and I have missed travelling these last couple of years.
What’s your favourite holiday? I'm a teacher, so the summer holidays are always great; sunshine, creativity, endless days, sundresses, sea swimming, tropical fruits and loads of time to make things!

What are you looking forward to? Travelling and spending more quality time with family. I really miss exploring new places.
What are some of your goals for 2022? I hope to be able to work full-time doing my illustrations and have more opportunities to work on exciting projects.
What’s your favourite holiday? Lunar New Year. It’s a time when my whole family gathers together. There are a lot of rituals that my family practise such as spring cleaning, preparing special dishes and giving away red packets that remind me of childhood. Now I try to create these memories for my own child.

What are you looking forward to? Every year I look forward to trying something I have never done before. Last year I worked with new mediums – clay and resin. This year, with everything going back to normal, I can't wait for more human interactions and travelling to new places. But life brings you things you weren't even thinking about and this is the most exciting part!
What are some of your goals for 2022? I would love to show New York City to my mum, as we had to cancel those plans two years in a row. My goal for every month of the year is to stay balanced and create things that make me smile. The rest will sort itself out.
What’s your favourite holiday? Christmas. Me and my family don't live in the same country, so it's a very special time when I can take a few days off and really be in the moment.
I also love it when the new numerological year begins (which is around September/October) and I celebrate the new moon each month.
What made you smile recently? Videos of dogs my mum sent me, that first cup of coffee, sales in the art supplies shop and people showing me my illustrations in their kid's rooms. What are you looking forward to? Going back to the UK when the borders open to see my family and friends. We've been apart for two and a half years.
What are some of your goals for 2022? Travel as much as possible, push the business as much as possible and work on some exciting projects that I can't say much about yet.
What’s your favourite holiday? India, because it was the inspiration for Hebe and also where I got engaged. Also, Greece is my happy place holiday – it’s where I go when I want to just relax and not worry about anything.
What made you smile recently? My foster cat Papi always makes me smile.
