You know a bun is a good bun when it has an entire day dedicated to its fluffiness. Bless the Swedes, then, who celebrate ‘Kanelbullens Dag’ – literally cinnamon bun day – and make us jealous that we don’t dwell in a more baked good-friendly country.

At least we can dish up some buns of our own, thanks to this recipe from the kindly folk at La Gallette. Word has it a hot bun is a cure for a lot of things (including a grumbling tum and the onset of the chilly season), so make like a Swede and start coiling that dough.
