Pals in Perth: fancy getting a little bit crafty? Then you might like to check out what’s on offer at Sunday Weaves, a pretty place in Fremantle dedicated to slowing down, having a cuppa, and immersing yourself in a creative project. There’s a beginners weaving workshop coming up, in fact – on Saturday November 4th. You don’t need any prior weaving experience whatsoever to take part, but if you do know a thing or two about the loom, then this’ll be a nice chance for you to expand your existing skills. You’ll get to play with texture and composition, and learn how to work with a range of media, including roving yarn, Australian wool and recycled fibres.
