stuff mondays - the creatory paper doll making workshop
Paper dolls have existed as long as there's been paper and creative folk to pop pictures on it, and you just can't argue with centuries of joy.
Paper dolls have existed as long as there's been paper and creative folk to pop pictures on it, and you just can't argue with centuries of joy. We still get our kicks out of playing stylist with their 100% parchment apparel, so we were chuffed to come across these paper doll making workshops at Sydney craft store, the creatory.
Their term three classes take place between July 15th and September 20th, and you can learn to make vintage-inspired dolls with some nifty contemporary touches. By the end of the workshop you'll have developed the knack of collage, construction and stitching, all under the watchful eye of stylist and fine arts whiz Kim Davies.
We have three places to give away for their class on Wednesday 24th July, for a few lucky make-a-holics who have a penchant for paper craft. Just pop us through an email here with your name and address, and tell us why your ideas would look good on paper.
