stuff mondays - snail mail

Designer and illustrator Michelle Mackintosh is decidedly pro-mail, and she's put together a nifty book to help you remaster the old-school practice.

The art of letter-writing has taken a battering lately, what with social media and all those new-fangled computer-like devices. But there's something comforting and cockle-warming about receiving a piece of correspondence in the post – handwritten, decorated and, if you're lucky, spritzed with a lovely scent.

Designer and illustrator Michelle Mackintosh is decidedly pro-mail, and she's put together a nifty book to help you remaster the old-school practice. Inside Snail Mail you'll find tips on sprucing up your envelopes and adding personality to your post, as well as a handy refresher guide to lettering by hand – and it's all wrapped up in a very nice-looking package.

We have five copies to send your way, and you don't even have to have any mail skills quite yet. Just send us a letter of the electronic type here, and don't forget to include your name and address.
