It would be tough to find any artwork that is more likely to make us squeal with childlike delight than the illustrations of Quentin Blake.

It would be tough to find any artwork that is more likely to make us squeal with childlike delight than the illustrations of Quentin Blake. Those squiggly sketches of friendly giants, kooky chocolate makers and telekinetic schoolgirls take us straight back to nights spent reading by torchlight under the doona, and thinking about it now, we kind of want to relive it all again.

The legendary doodler has just released a book called Words and Pictures, which takes a look back at his 50-year career as a cartoonist, illustrator and writer. It's filled with nostalgic illustrations and comments from the arty fellow himself, and we're pretty psyched that we have five copies to give away. To get your hands on one, just send us an email here with your name and address and tell us which of Quentin Blake's words or pictures makes you all misty-eyed.
