stuff mondays - phillips & son whale platters

There's something more exciting about a meal served on a platter - it can make even a mid-afternoon brew and some Arnott's cookies seem a wee bit fancy-pants.

There's something more exciting about a meal served on a platter - it can make even a mid-afternoon brew and some Arnott's cookies seem a wee bit fancy-pants. That's why we're getting all giddy over this Phillips & Son whale platter, which adds a little la-di-da to your dishware drawer.

The porcelain piece is a collaboration between Canadian graphic artist Ian Phillips and ceramics designer rcboisjoli, and features an original sperm whale illustration spouting gold blow-hole squirts. It's so lovely it might well make you blubber. Sea what we did there?

If you want to add a little swankiness to your teatimes, send through an email here with your name and address. We have three platters to give away - just tell us what kinds of delicious treats you'll be serving up for supper.
