With a daily flood of emails jamming up our inboxes, there's a special kind of excitement that comes from receiving real life snail mail. Not the bills and bank statements – they're just met with grumbles – but a personalised letter or card, penned by someone who has taken the time to say howdy-doo the old-fashioned way. Maybe even with decorative stickers. And scented paper.

Ma and Grandy believe in making friends with your mailman, and we sure wouldn't mind finding their cheery goodies in the post. Who could object to polka dots, an oh-so pretty palette and a card that declares 'Oh boy, I like you a lot!'
