Calling all aspiring pattern designers and Palm Springs devotees! You might have noticed a special competition in the pages of issue 67 asking you to design a little something for our crafty pals at Spotlight. Wahoo!

In case you don’t have the magazine in front of you (ahem – you can nab one here if you haven’t already), here’s the lowdown:

This summer Spotlight is getting all Cal Mid-century Modern, with a Palm Springs themed range across their sewing, haberdashery and craft departments. Even more exciting is there will be a bit of frankie reader goodness in there – with a little help from you, that is. We’re calling all textile designers, clever printmakers and fabric fanciers to create a Palm Springs-y design and pop it through to giveaways@frankie.com.au by September 30th. (Using the subject line Palm Springs for Spotlight and a jpeg no more than 1MB!) The winning designer will have their textile printed up and sold in Spotlight stores nationwide, plus a feature on the frankie website, and all attendant glory and high fives those kind of things inspire. They’ll also score themselves a $500 voucher to use in their local Spotlight store. Good luck!
