Is it just us, or does it seem like pottery is the new rock 'n' roll? There's so much cool ceramic action around at the moment, it sometimes feels like the whole world suddenly woke up and declared: "Quick, hand me some clay and a kiln! I am going to make something awesome!" Joining these ranks is Rachel Howe of Small Spells. Previously a fine artist, Rachel brings her colour and pattern know-how to bear on little pieces of pottery in a quite marvellous way. If she's not a rock star, she's definitely a clay star.
