shed of the year

Time to skip gaily through the streets, chuck confetti everywhere and yell 'Huzzah!'. Why do all these celebratory things? Because the Shed of the Year has been announced, that's why. This year's champion belongs to Alex Holland in Machynlleth, Wales and is formed from an old boat with a crown on its head. It's also pimped out with a solar panel, LED lights, sound system, wood burner and gas cooker: everything you need for some grand old quality time in the shed. Alex fought off competition from 1,900 other 'sheddies' to claim his title, and we say, 'Well done, sir!'
