Lilli Waters believes that there is a fantasy world lying just behind our understanding of reality. For the past two years she has been photographing women escaping to their special wonderland while going ordinary, every day things. The portraits of these 41 lasses from diverse backgrounds have been put together as her debut show, SHE RAW. What is even more brill is that she's donating half of the proceeds to charity! All of the goin cold donations at the launch and 50% of the profits from her book of photographs will go to White Ribbon, an organisation that fights violence against women. The opening is on May 3rd at Black Dot Gallery (413 Lygon Street in Melbourne's East Brunswick) and will be showing until May 13th.
