When you do something every day since you were a wee one, you’re probably going to end up being a bit of a pro. That’s certainly the case for Melbourne lad Ronan Burder, anyway.

Folding and smoothing his way through his adolescence, the now-25-year-old has perfected the art of origami – so much so that he’s moved on from simple paper craft to merge the Japanese art with industrial design.

Lampshades, ornamental features and jewellery all come together under his brand, Taiyogami, with each piece using only a single sheet of paper (and no scissors in sight). Not bad, huh?
