rogan brown’s paper sculptures

By Emma Do

Get ready to have your mind blown by these intricate paper artworks.

Artist Rogan Brown cuts paper with such laser precision, you could easily believe his work was the result of a machine rather than the human hand. Rogan’s intricate sculptures – made from layer upon layer of cut paper – reflect his fascination with the natural world, from the deep sea to the perfectly normal (but rather creepy-looking) bacteria found in the human body. Being art, it’s not all scientifically correct models here: Rogan likes to embellish shapes that occur in nature and turn the scientific into the fantastical. See more from Rogan over here.
