reunions

An English street photographer caught up with his subjects 40 years down the track.

In the ’70s and ’80s, shutterbug Chris Porsz was rather partial to snapping working class folks in his hometown of Peterborogh, England – from punks to policemen to lovers kissing goodbye on the train. Forty years down the track, he’s managed to catch up with those same subjects and recreate his original images for his collection called Reunions (of which there were 135, all up). Some of the people who appeared in the photos hadn’t seen each other in years, and for Chris, getting to see the smiles on their faces was pretty darn special. Take a wee scroll to see the snaps in question.
