You probably wouldn't put your closest pal up for the night in a snug wooden box, so why is it any different for man (or woman's) best friend?

You probably wouldn't put your closest pal up for the night in a snug wooden box, so why is it any different for man (or woman's) best friend? Judson Beaumont from Straight Line Designs is inspiring us to ditch the plain old kennel for one of these vintage-style doggy trailers, to make an overnight stay in the backyard a bit more special for our loyal four-legged chums.

Based on campers from the '40s and '50s, the portable homes are handcrafted, come with lighting and a personalised numberplate, and are customisable to the colours of your choosing. They do cost a pretty penny to purchase, though, so be prepared to fork out some dosh for the sake of your dog.
