raph rashid's online cooking show is all about the daggy classics

First on the menu? Apricot chicken.

You won't find glowing marble benches or roomy stovetops on Raph Rashid's new cooking show. True to style, the Melbourne foodie legend behind Beatbox Kitchen and Juanita Peaches is keeping it real. For one, his home kitchen looks pretty darn relatable. Secondly, he's dedicating the bite-sized online series, called Raph's Mean Cuisine, to daggy (but ultimately comforting) ’80s meals. Each episode will see Raph and a cooking buddy whip up a new version of a dish he grew up with, whether it be garlicky chicken kiev or his parents' chow mein. First up on the menu? Apricot chicken. Have a squiz below and if you dig it, keep up with to date with new eps via Raph's Instagram.
