protest like it’s 1986

Laura Wingrove’s t-shirts take us back to the future.

It takes a smart cookie like Laura Wingrove to connect the dots between our current penchant for slogan shirts and merch with the very ‘80s phenomena of t-shirt-as-political-message. Using ‘80s neon aesthetics, the London illustrator etches a mix of protest messages onto tees, and the results are super-rad. We're especially fond of the “Let Boys Cry” and “Don’t Tell Me To Smile” tees. You can find Laura’s collection of t-shirts here, along with the rest of her design work over here.
