Illinois artist Chad Wys likes a bit of thrifting, but once he get his secondhand purchases home he doesn't just place them around the house and step back to admire their vintage glory.

Illinois artist Chad Wys likes a bit of thrifting, but once he get his secondhand purchases home he doesn't just place them around the house and step back to admire their vintage glory.

He covers them in paint, rips out their threads, pins colour swatches on them and basically messes with them till they're deconstructed and transformed into something quite awesomely different. Clever, quirky and a little bit funny too.
