We're not quite sure if there's a Guinness World Record for the largest pom pom ever made, but if you ask us, Eleanor Davies has that honour in the bag.

We're not quite sure if there's a Guinness World Record for the largest pom pom ever made, but if you ask us, Eleanor Davies has that honour in the bag. Like something you'd find atop the BFG's beanie, the London-based lady created this mammoth puffball out of wool, newspaper and rope. We're pretty impressed she used the same basic steps as you would with any average-sized pom pom, though no doubt some industrial shears were required to snip her way through the many layers of yarn. You can see the full construction process on Eleanor's website, which looks enormously fun if you're crafty inclined.
