obus wall project 4

Kirra Jamison's paintings resemble the '70s flower patterns of bell bottom jeans, that is, if they were on a canvas in a high art gallery.

The final Obus Wall Project in Melbourne is here! The last round is by the curator of the entire project, Kirra Jamison. Her paintings resemble the 70s flower patterns of bell bottom jeans, that is, if they were on a canvas in a high art gallery. This time around though, she's doing something a little different. Inspired by Obus' 'Destion Mexico' S/S 2011 collection, she is "painting with scissors" and creating a giant canvas out of colourful vinyl cut outs. Cool, right? The launch of the piece is on this Thursday, November 17th, at their Melbourne city store (289 Flinders Lane). Click here for more details.
