nutcase helmets call for artists

Ever wanted to see your artwork wrapped around a passerby’s noggin?

That’s lucky, because there’s a competition on the go that can help you do just that. The folk at Nutcase Helmets have two missions: protect your head and stop you from looking like a ninny while they’re at it (maybe they’re as scarred as us from years of wearing clunky Stackhats).

They’re on the hunt for three international artists to design some unique helmets as part of their Nutcase Unframed Program. As well as having their artwork plastered on some snazzy head covers, the winners will also be flown over to the Eurobike and Interbike trade shows, where they’ll be asked to create full-size murals live in front of passersby.

Oh, and they’ll be auctioned off to raise money for the World Bicycle Relief, too. Art, glory and brownie points? Sounds pretty good to us.
