Calling all Melbourne pals! If the gloomy weather is getting you down, perhaps a visit to Northcote Pottery Supplies' annual open day will lift your spirits. This Saturday, the Brunswick East workshop will be rolling up the shutters and giving everyone a chance to get their hands dirty, with demonstrations from resident artists and an opportunity to shape a little something something on the pottery wheel yourself.
A number of top-notch potters will also open their studios to the public (in case you were curious about how the magic happens). Plus, there's an artist market where you can pick up pretty bits and bobs from local ceramicists including Togetherness Design, Min Pin, Lucinda Florence, Pey Chi and more. If you needed any more convincing to leave the house, there will indeed be a coffee cart, too.
