Japanese architectural studio Torafu have released a preview of their new shape-changing furniture, Dice. Seemingly a distant relative of Optimus Prime, Dice transforms from a child's chair and desk, to an adult's seat, as well as a bookcase or storage centre, all depending on the way you orient it.

Torafu are responsible for some other pretty niftily designed creations, too, including this gelato bar, this puppy cot, and loads of beautiful air vases.

If you can't wait to get the Dice into your digs, you'll have to sit tight, because the release date of its manufacturing is still to be confirmed. For now, feel free to marvel at more pics over here.
