A clever way to honour the past.

Ticket stubs, shopping lists, old photos and other bits of paper are charming windows into ye olden times, so it’s a damn shame they’re often kept hidden away in a box. When North Carolina ceramicist and Modern History Clay Works founder Melissa Reddick inherited several boxes of family papers going back generations, she concocted a very clever way to honour them. Using ceramics, printmaking, photography and even antique kitchen tools, Melissa creates functional gold-rimmed bowls that tell stories of the past. Her GOLDIES collection makes you instantly nostalgic, and is the picture-perfect place to keep treasures of your own. Head here for a closer look.
