meet the 2019 wool4school winners

One winning student dreamt up clothes that help reduce stress. Ain’t that clever?

Earlier this year, The Woolmark Company’s annual Wool4School competition set high school students an interesting challenge: design an outfit that both involves wool and embraces technology. Boy, oh boy did they deliver.

Year 12 winner Madison Harris proposed an outfit to help reduce stress. Inspired by the weighted blanket, Madison’s jacket would apply pressure to specific acupressure points that are proven to calm down a person’s nervous system. Best of all, it looks pretty damn slick. We recommend you check it out in full over this way, and while you’re at it, take a gander at the winning designs from other students, too.

A big congrats to all of this year’s talented entrants! You can now find the full list of winners and runners-up on the Wool4School website. And take note – we have a good feeling you'll be seeing these names around in the not-too-distant future.
