Three years ago Alana Deukett came across some of her mum's old crochet shoes from the '80s and fell a little bit in love. So she taught herself how to make them and started selling a few pairs around the place. But since they take so long to stitch – and Alana was probably getting some horrible finger cramp by now – she contacted a group of Cambodian ladies through a fairtrade outfit and taught them to crochet the shoes as well. Which is all to the good, since these stitchy slippers are quite rad, and you can nab yourself a pair right over here.
