long lists: warm things
From the warmth of our brand new office blankies we've searched the 'net and uncovered a house-full of winter warmers.
How about that weather lately, huh? It's chillier than a polar bear's nose. It's frostier than an eskimo's fridge. However you choose to describe it, the fact is it's pretty friggin' cold, and you're probably on the look out for nifty ways to defrost your extremities.
Never fear, freezing friends: from the warmth of our brand new office blankies we've searched the 'net and uncovered a house-full of winter warmers. We've left no theoretical stone unturned and no limb uncovered, so grab your hot water bottle and click on through.
(from left to right)
1. This golden scallop sweater is just sunny enough to convince yourself that you're actually frolicking in a sunshiny field, not shivering in your booties while it pours down outside. It's brainwashing with a cosy wool blend.
2. We challenge you to find mittens that are more fun to pop on your pointers than these merino hedgehogs. Go on, give it a shot.
3. Pom poms and pastels and pullovers, oh my! Who needs neutrals when you can drape yourself in this comfy, coloured knit?
4. A tip for you: the key to staying warm is flashing zero flesh, so it goes without saying that this all-in-one will keep you snug as a bug in the proverbial rug.
5. Are they slippers? Are they socks? They're slipper socks! And they'll keep your tootsies mighty warm during a hardcore slothing session.
6. Stop your body heat from escaping with a pretty knit for your noggin. These beanies come in a range of juicy colours, with a little pom-pom garnish on top.
7. We're going to come out and say that socks are the ultimate winter accessory, and these geometric print pretties are currently topping our list.
8. Not only is this the most architecturally intriguing scarf we ever did see, you can even pick the colours to make your statement just right.
9. God bless our sheepy pals, always donating their fleece to keep us human folk warm. Bid cold feet adieu with these hand-made house shoes.
10. There's no limit to the belly- and soul-warming brews that can be sipped out of this adorable fawn mug. Try a sweet milky tea or a devilish mulled wine, or if you're feeling indulgent (and let's be honest, that's what winter's for) this spiced hot chocolate looks super tasty.
11. You're not the only one that gets the chills in the winter months, you know. Keep your teapot cosy with, well... a knitted tea cosy.
12. Nothing brings people together like a cold snap and a blanket woven for two. Good job, Iceland.
