Sejkko's photography series Lonely Houses makes us smile, then sniffle a little, then want to hotfoot it to the airport, stat. For Sejkko, the Portugal-based abodes represent a childhood growing up in tropical Venezuela – feeling a little isolated and lost, like he didn't quite belong. But there's also a sense of liberating independence and distinct personality for each colourful home, whether it's a stripy seaside cottage, a rooster-topped brick box or a slightly ramshackled dwelling out in the sticks.
