Look – we have to admit our knowledge of the sea is pretty limited. Basically, we know there’s a witch who’ll bottle your voice in exchange for the opportunity to hang out with your crush for three days, before turning you into a slug for her garden, and there’s this amazing orchestra, conducted by a crab.

Yep, we’ve been relying on Disney for way too long on that front. Which is why we were particularly delighted to catch a different view of nautical life, courtesy of Swedish illustrator, Lina Löfstrand. She draws inspiration from her family’s lifetime of working on the waves, and you can check out her website for more watercolour wonders.
