lightning heart embroidered book covers

Remember the ’90s with these hand-embroidered book covers.

Goosebumps. The Babysitters Club. Sweet Valley High. What do they all have in common? That’s right, they’re all awesome. (Well, at least that’s how we remember them – and we’d hate to revisit the texts today and risk tarnishing our childhood memories.) They also happen to be the books that Phebe Rendulic, aka Lightning Heart, destroyed in the name of creating excellent art. Her embroidered book covers were originally created as part of a group exhibition called Teen Dreemz, based on growing up in the ’90s, and are now available for sale via her online store. They come framed and make a mighty nice piece of wall art, we reckon.
