lamington babka
Now, here’s a treat for the tastebuds: a lamington babka.
A babka, for those of you not in the know, is a classic brioche-like Jewish cake. It’s also made in Eastern European countries to celebrate Easter. Seemingly, babka doesn’t discriminate when it comes to religion – which is a good thing, since it means that more folks get to enjoy its spongy deliciousness. The lamington variety, which comes courtesy of Daisy and the Fox, contains lashings of dark chocolate and coconut – and we’re struggling to think of anything that sounds quite as scrummy. Head over this way to have a squiz at the recipe, and get it in your gob posthaste.
(Update: it unfortunately looks like Daisy and the Fox has gone offline. Until they make a return to the internet, you can try this lamington babka recipe from My Nomad Cuisine instead.)
