Ah, textas, our dear old friends. Back in primary school days we used them to colour in our homework and scrawl naughty doodles wherever we saw fit, but while we were busy fooling around, illustrator Kuno Mari was devising a style that would launch her artistic career. The Japanese lass creates lovely pictures of oh-so dapper ladies and gents, and has a knack for conjuring up a mood that we never thought texta-style art was capable of.
