Every now and then we discover an arty type who makes us wish we could dive headfirst into their illustrated world.

Every now and then we discover an arty type who makes us wish we could dive headfirst into their illustrated world – just like when Jane and Michael Banks jump into Bert's chalk footpath drawings in Mary Poppins. New Zealand lass Katie Wilson is one such talented illustrator, whose whimsical doodlings would make a pleasing place for us spend the rest of our days: bounding through meadows, tending to rooftop gardens or simply relaxing under a smiling sun. Until we figure out a way to make that possible, or someone writes us into our very own fairytale, we'll just have to perch one of her lovely prints on the mantel. Pick one up for yourself over here.
