Making flying insects pretty enough to hang on your wall is no mean feat, and yet here we are, coveting these unexpectedly lovely magnolia bug snaps by designer and photographer Kari Herer.

It's not only creepy crawlies that strike her fancy though – the clever lady mixes blossoming blooms with a menagerie of woodland critters to create artwork that is basically a big thumbs up to nature.

She has a website full of flora and fauna collaborations you can have a flick through, or if you'd like to pick a piece up of your own, they're available for next to nix in her etsy shop.
