julie white's straya daze

Julie White's socks and scarves are as as ridgy-didge as it gets without tucking into a roo burger or piece of Vegemite toast.

We're not sure what brings on a bout of the highly infectious Straya Daze, but if Julie White's lookbook of the same name is anything to go by, we can only assume it's prolonged viewings of Ken Done artwork, an over-indulgence in pavlova, a buzzy insect's bite or the smell of sunscreen in the air.

The Adelaide-based designer's Aussie-themed patterns are splashed across a range of silk scarves and knee-high socks, and with summer fruits, prawns, desert camels and Iced VoVos making an appearance, they're as ridgy-didge as it gets without tucking into a roo burger or piece of Vegemite toast.

If you'd like to slip your feet into a pair of her lovely foot covers (and in true Oz fashion, a pair of thongs), serve up another slice of pav and click over to her online shop, here.
