Stumbling across Singapore artist Izziyana Suhaimi gave us so much joy that we just needed to share it with you all. After hand drawing and filling her portraits in with watercolours, Izzi picks up her thread and needle and embroiders details like a beanie or a tapestry-covered cardigan. She's interested in the role that traditional craftsmanship plays in modern art, and loves the countless hours it takes to make her works. Most of the images to the left are part of her 'Friends To Keep Warm' series, which makes sense in winter as she certainly has made them cozy.

She has a wonderful tumblr that she keeps updated here, and she takes requests if you would like her to make something for you!
