high notes and high tea

We thought we'd like to learn how to hold a tune this year. And looky what we found: a class that incorporates both singing lessons and tea drinking. Awesome.

We wish we could sing. We really, really do. We're the types to be driving through the city, windows down, blaring David Bowie and yelping along out of tune, much to the amusement (and cringing) of all who are around us. So we thought we'd look into some singing lessons, and we found these ones. It's called High Notes and High Tea, and incorporates both singing lessons and tea drinking - awesome. You can take classes of three or four with friends, or make some new fellow vocally-challenged mates instead. And then Madame Flavour tea is served afterwards to soothe your vocal chords. They're run by jazz master Lyn Gillett out of her new studio in Malvern, Melbourne. More details here or email here. Picture from here. Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do!
