If your personal style lies somewhere between ‘1950s American teen’ and ‘I only wear loose-fitting garments’, you’ll probably appreciate what’s on offer at Heffernan & Haire. The Melbourne boutique is the sister store to the very dapper menswear shop Pickings and Parry, and much like its sibling, is a treasure chest for spiffy, workwear-inspired duds from around the world. You'll find brands including Levi's Vintage, W'menswear (whose designs you see in this post), Blue Blue Japan and half a dozen other labels making well-made, utilitarian classics.
