Germana Bargoni transforms op shop fabrics into gorgeous one-of-a-kind garments.

From her studio in Bologna, Italy, Germana Bargoni stitches an array of pretty garments, all crafted from vintage fabrics that have been nabbed from op shops near and far.

Inspired by the 1980s kids’ board game “Fashion Wheel” – or “Gira e rigira la moda”, as it was known it Italy – Germana’s label, Girae Rigia, boasts tops, bottoms and some oversized smock dresses we’re especially fond of. Take a wander through her Etsy store to scope out her full range of textile treasures.
