When you think of glass sculpting, a lovely little kitten or adorable smiley face are probably not the first things that come to mind. Finn O’Sullivan – aka Lawn Bowls – has quite the knack for crafting glass-y bits and bobs that stray away from traditional ideas of the medium. Using glass fusing and kiln slumping techniques, Finn creates colourful glassware that will melt your heart – after it’s done melting the glass – thanks to the crapload of joy they’re imbued with. With names like ‘Confetti Happy Clam’ for this dish and ‘Sleepy Bear Sweet Treat’ for this bowl, it’s going to be hard not to be grinning every time you lay your peepers on these lovely bits.
