Swing by Lamington Drive in Melbourne to check out Alice Oehr’s silkscreened posters inspired by the plastic second skin that so frequently encases our edible goods.

If you’re a city dweller, odds are that you don’t grab your fruit and veggies straight out of the garden, but instead crack them out of foam layers or rip them out of mesh bags. Bit of a strange way to consume nature, isn’t it? Melbourne-based designer Alice Oehr thinks so, at any rate, and has whipped up a collection of silkscreened posters inspired by the plastic second skin that so frequently encases our edible goods. Swing past Lamington Drive at 52 Budd Street in Collingwood, Melbourne, to check them out – her Freshly Wrapped exhibition runs till Sunday March 17th.
