If Mia’s Christmas wishlist is anything to go by, her wardrobe and abode are about to be decked out in a crapload of swanky bits. If your pals love Y2K nostalgia and spooky-themed goodness, get a load of what Mia is hoping to get her mitts on this Christmas for some clever ideas. (Or, better yet, nab this nice stuff for yourself!)

1. On the long list of dreams I have for this life, owning every single Hello Kitty piece from LA cult jewellery brand Tarina Tarantino is one of them. This Lolita Supercharm Necklace will be mine (and hopefully on sale) one day. 

2. If you don't know, Spooky Lake Month is a yearly series on Tik Tok where artist Geo Rutherford talks about different “haunted hydrology” from across the earth. The mixture of spooky science and natural phenomena has me locked in every October, so naturally I would like to have her book while I wait patiently for next year. 

3. My one non-negotiable for any bag is a big enough handle to fit comfortably over my arm. This one from Samo Ondoh not only passes the test, but it’s also my favourite shade of pink. Plus, there’s plenty of space around the straps for all my trinket keychains. 

4. Continuing down my spooky path, Freddy Krueger is hands-down my favourite ‘80s slasher killer – mostly for his unmatched sass. I’d happily let this hand-painted Freddy-themed Kewpie baby from Etsy haunt my dreams – he’s just too cute to resist.

5. I think these Archies Footwear thongs will be the perfect beach shoes for summer. And even though I'd rather not draw attention to my big clompers, I can’t resist that bright chilli-red colour. 

6. We all secretly want to know what Troye Sivan smells like, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s anything like his own perfume (it’s that good). His TSU LANGE YOR Sala Eau de Perfume is fresh and dewy, kind of like warm skin after a swim. It’s very light and clean – perfect for the summer months ahead. 

7. I’m not much of a drinker, but I can’t keep letting my guests sip wine out of mugs when they come over. These Swirl Wine Glasses from Fazeek are totally the vibe – a little bit snazzy and stylish enough to double as shelf decor.

8. This Big Big Flower Dress by Lazy Oaf has my full attention. The shaped waistline and gingham fabric is right up my alley. I think I will pair it with a cute baby tee underneath – you can catch me wearing this all summer. 

9. I recently got a tiny Tamagotchi tattoo, but it didn’t quite scratch that nostalgic itch – so when I found out you can still buy them, I just need to get my hands on one. I’m obsessed with the designs, especially the version with angel wings. It’s peak Y2K.
