A Japanese artist has launched bouquets of immaculately arranged flowers into space.

Anyone who happens to be orbiting Earth at the moment might see some rather impressive bouquets floating by, thanks to the efforts of Azuma Makoto. The Japanese botanical sculptor recently launched bunches of flora along with a bonsai into the stratosphere – and although we’re not entirely certain about the environmental implications of launching random stuff into space, we must admit, it makes for pretty interesting viewing.
