Bridget Beth Collins turns pretty things into even prettier things.
Like many of us, Bridget Beth Collins likes to wander around her local streets, fields and gardens, collecting flowers from over fences and under her feet. But instead of popping them into an op-shop vase to see out their days, the Seattle-based forager prefers to deconstruct her spoils.
Petals, fronds, leaves and branches are picked apart and rearranged, forming bunnies out of fuzzy lamb's ear, teapots from daisies and piglets out of primrose, just to name a few. There's even a Pantone colour wheel made from a rainbow of floral bits and bobs! When everything's in place, the compositions are snapped and sold as prints for you to keep in your home, or as a set of note cards to send out to fellow flora-loving mates.
